Calcined dolomite - CALCINOR
Calcined dolomite, calcium magnesium oxide, (CaMg(O) 2) How it's produced: By heating the mineral dolomite (CaMg(CO 3) 2). Uses: In steelmaking, both quicklime and calcined dolomite are used as a flux and slag conditioner and to prevent the steel from oxidising. This process also collects impurities that are damaging to the steel.
